- Focusing on an exclusive project each year: this year it is raising money for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF)
They also particpate in various health science competitive events at the regional, state, and national conferences each year.
Every year, the Green County Area Technology Center chapter of HOSA choses a motto that reflects the goals of the organization. This year's motto is: "It's in our hearts to keep yours beating". The members of HOSA want people to gain an interest in the club and expose the excitement of the health sciences. HOSA gives students the confidence to compete in events, the ability to be in a team, and the skills for empathy with others.
To become a member of HOSA, you must be enrolled in a health sciences class currently or in the previous year. Membership dues are $20.00.
