Automotive
Automotive Technology is a two-year secondary program providing the fundamentals of all the systems incorporated within today's automobile. Instruction is provided in the use of hand tools, test equipment, and stationary repair machines. The program is broken into courses, each designed to allow extra emphasis on specific areas. Basic theory and practical application is provided in engine repair, fuel systems, basic electricity, emission controls, brake system, suspension and steering, and heating and air conditioning. The program is ASE Certified in five areas: Brakes, Electrical Systems, Engine Performance, Engine Repair and Suspension & Steering.
